Depending on the post, applicants may require a relevant degree, postgraduate qualification, professional qualification, NVQ qualification, diploma, technical qualification, G.C.E. A/L or G.C.E. O/L qualification, together with relevant experience where applicable. Technical and vocational vacancies cover fields such as Automobile Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Electronics, Welding, Plumbing, ICT, Printing, Wood Technology, Auto Electrical, Auto Air Conditioning, Caregiving, Nursing, and Hotel & Restaurant-related fields. Age Limits Director / Principal: 30–55 years Assistant Directors, Lecturers, Officers and Instructors: 22–45 years Instructor Assistants, Technical Illustrators, Laboratory Assistants, Drivers, Skilled Craftsmen and Office Aides: 18–45 years The upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates, subject to the conditions stated in the official advertisement. Salary Selected applicants will receive the relevant salary scale and approved government allowances applicable to their position. Salary scales range from approximately Rs. 50,540 to Rs. 169,220, depending on the post and grade.
